Paul Snowden is not only our beloved graphic designer, but also the mastermind behind Berlin fashion label WASTED GERMAN YOUTH. Known for its bold letters and motivs propagating the in your face hedonism that Berlin and its excessive after hour nightlife has become world famous for, WGY has become the grown-up-raver´s favourite T-shirt label of choice. WGY has seen various global adaptations over the years, from “Wasted Brooklyn Youth” to “Wasted French Fuck” and “Wasted Malaka Youth”. Yesterday, the label opened its shop in Berlin. So next time you´re in the German Hauptstadt, go visit the store. Of course, Man Recordings vinyl is also in stock.

PAUL SNOWDEN IN KOREA

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

Paul Snowden, the graphic designer who created all fabulous covers for Man Recordings, recently rose to global fame with his “Wasted Berlin Youth” and “Minimal My Ass” T-Shirt range. From Brooklyn to Mitte, from Montmartre to Shibuya, there´s no hipster area where you won´t see one of Paul Snowdens iconic designs. Now Paul was invited to Seoul, Korea, to show his collected works as part of a show titled “Berlin Subculture”. He didnt inform us yet whether Seoul´s Youth is getting wasted too but if you happen to be in Seoul in the next few weeks, visit his show at:
