RADICAL RIDDIMS FESTIVAL BERLIN THIS WEEKEND
Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

If you´re planning to come to Berlin to the “Karneval Der Kulturen” (= “Carneval Of Cultures”, the annual Berlin street carnival event), here´s another good reason to visit the German capitol : The Radical Riddims festival. It will take place from June 11th to June 18th and will include a party, lectures and an extensive film program. The central topic of the festival are post-local music styles and their transformations through the internet. The party line up looks pretty nice: Spoek Mathambo, Sissy Nobby, Uproot Andy, DJ Flore & MC Rodney P, DJ Edgar & MC Gi, Robot Koch and myself will play June 11th. More infos on Radical Riddims on the festival website.
Tim Turbo, our very own chief podcaster will release his “HUSH (IGGY, IGGY)/LINYORA EP” featuring Spoek Mathambo and Gnucci Banana on October 1st on Big n´Hairy Records. The EP offers two fresh original tunes and a bunch of club ready remixes by e.g. Douster, Beare & Motorpitch, Spo Shifty and others. Tim and his crew also shot a energetic video in Munich to visualize the vibe that comes with “HUSH (IGGY, IGGY)”. Wiggle it!!
